Anybody ever tried one of these ? Looks like the coolest mod for a 10/22 I've ever seen but do they work? might have to do this to a old 10/22 I've got laying around.

I've heard nothing but good about them. They're made minutes from my house. They seem well made. But my little Ruger still wears it's original stock.

I am definitely doing it to my 10/22 when I get some extra play money...seems that always goes quickly to other AK's.

IIRC on the other there is a big magnet to hold the stock folded, and they seem to go to great lengths to avoid posting a picture of it.

but i want one really bad. proably around christmas time ill get myself one.

C&S Metel Wereks is the manufacture. Other than the barrel and one or two other parts most of it is made in house on their CNC machine. Even the 74 folder and trunion are made in house. Before anyone gets any ideas the trunion is AL and will not work in an AK, but it looks like it would if it were constructed of the right material. I do not work for them but have done have done form 4 transfers with them. They are good people. Yes there is a magnet on the other side to hold the folder closed but there was not a whole lot of options to keep it closed and it dose not look bad. I keep putting of buying one due to other projects
