I have a KBI SA2000M and would like to convert it to accept 30 round mags. I understand that I will have to replace the FCG (3 compliance parts) and the mag follower (1 compliance part) with USA made parts; that should fix the 10 part rule. What do I need to modify?

Thanks

you will also have to open up the mag well and ad a selector stop spacer thing so the mags sit at the right level. i converted mine some time ago but i thing that was all there was to it. oh and if you keep the choate stock set you already have 3 u.s. parts. you need 3 more if it still has the brake on it. so you fcg takes care of that. good luck.

Will Tapco's double hook FCG work?

yes, and if the gun happens to be a single hook, you can either dremel the notch in the rec or cut one off the fcg

you should just buy the single hook set. if you already ordered the double hook you should just cut off the second hook. you should avoid hacking on the receiver anymore than you need to(unless you really know what you are doing) good luck.

You need five US parts with no muzzle attachment and six with to satisfy the 10 parts rule.
