I was looking at Atlantic Firearms website and I always hear great things about Vector and their 5yr warranty.

I noticed the Vector underfolder and also the Polish underfolder.  Is the Polish built that much better that it is the same price as the Vector but only with a year warranty?

Also, I thought Vector used Polish parts to build them.  Is this correct?

So whats the difference between them?

Give Blaine a call at Atlantic Firearms.  He'll give you the "skinny" on both rifles.

OK, I did some searches and found out.

The Vector & the Polish are both built on a Polish part kit, the Polish come with a few extras ,like a rifle case & bayonet they also have a Dura Cote finish.

I think I'm going with the vector.

I was thinking of getting one of the Vectors as my first AK varient.  What kind of quality can I expect it to be compared to a WASR or the cheaper Yugo underfolders that are out right now?

FWIW I heard that some of the parts Vector uses are Hungarian...

Anyone know if Vector's fixed stock versions use Polish kits?

ETA: Aparently they went to all Polish Kits now...

The quality and finish should be ALOT better on the Vector compared to a WASR.  As far as the Yugos, they seem very well built and sturdy.  I have handled a few at gunshows and shops but decided against them because of lack of chrome barrel and they do not use standard size parts.

Considering that you can get a Vector for only about 50-75 bucks more and plus you get a 5 year warranty, I am most likey going that route.

That seals the deal for me.  I am going to get a Vector.
