Got my RPK back from a local builder. Cope's Romy kit, NDS recvr and new EG stock set from IO. Since the bits cost so much, I decided to spend the extra $ and have someone else build it and refinish it. Took it out and it ran fine and didn't fall apart so all is good .

Sweet.  Man that's awesome.  Really love the heft with the Romy RPK-47 and the ultra cool adjustable bipod.  I initially switched the bipod on mine with a fixed one then decided the adjustable is better.

Here's mine.  Home built on a all matching DPH Arms kit with DCI receiver.  Finish is original on the metal.  I/O wood with a Z_Recto PG.  I refinished all the wood to get color match.  Also, I went with a Romanian leather sling when I was finished with the build.

No Bumpin for this one too $$$$ I built a Klunker Yugo RPK that would be fine for it.  I used to have a STG 58 FAL kit gun that bumped verywell off the bipod and was reasonably aimable ....
