For a longer flash hider that will make it legal, check with Chris at AK-USA.

Submit the paperwork for an SBR and buy the correct muzzle device from that British company.

Even "that British company" only has the 7.62x39 (AK-103) hiders. The 5.45 (AK-105) models are friggin impossible to find.

Nah. I regard Krinks the same as I do the 7.5" "Kitty Kat" type ARs – a "fashion statement" gun that's rather impractical but has a high CDI factor.  Krinks sacrifice too much (sight radius, accuracy, ballistics) in the interest of compact size; the AK-102/104/105 carbines are the perfect compromise, IMO.

The 5.45 boosters are impossible to find because they are illegal for civillian sale in Russia.  Along with anything else thats 5.45 unless its converted to .223 like mags ect.

I hear the Bugly Flash Hider works great.  I also heard they make them for short ARs now because it tricks the barrel into thinking its longer by pushing the gas back into the barrel or something like that.  Not the best explaintion I guess.

The 104 flash hider is almost indistinguishible and works perfectly well. I know this from first hand experience.

Don't be surprised if somebody gets their hands on some AK-102 boosters some day which would be indistinguishible from the 105 boosters.
