I have an AK102 clone that I am having an issue with that I could use some help on.

My 102 uses the front end from KVAR which has 4" of barrel that extends past the threaded front sight block so it isn't a Class III item.  To get it threaded, I used a Dyna Systems threading kit to thread the .565" OD barrel with a 14mm LH thread pattern and installed a 14mm A2 flash hider.  Looking down the muzzle, the bore looks to be dead center in the flash hider.  So I thought good job and proceeded to shoot it.  Well it was shooting way to the right so I had to adjust the front site post.  I ended up having to move it all the way to the left for it to shoot correctly.  I thought Oh Well.

Well today I picked up my Gemtech HALO suppressor, took out my 9.25" POF AR upper and my AK102.  The HALO had no problems with the AR, but I had a baffle strike with the AK102.  Actually I had two baffle strikes and I only put two rounds through the HALO on the 102.  Needless to say that ruined my day.  So my question is how on earth did I get a baffle strike with a 16" barrel that isn't keyholing at 25 yards?

The barrel is not bored on center?

Well I took some calipers to the barrel and it is off by 3 thousandths, but that isn't enough to cause the strike.  So I then looked at the thread job, and it looks extremely straight and clean.  Then I looked inside the flash hider...oh shit!  I could obviously tell that the flash hider was not bored out straight so when the the internal threads were cut it casuses the flash hider to cant to one side.  I bought the 14mm birdcage flash hider off the EE here, actually I bought two.  Tonight I will look to see if the other fh is poorly bored out as well.  Maybe I just got a bad one, we will see.  Obviously the flash hider cut wrong doesn't matter when shooting unsurpressed, however, the can indexes to the flash hider so if the fh is wrong then so will the can.
