I just recently bought an SLR-105 (ban style) and I was wondering if there was anyway to put a threaded barrel on it...btw I am only 16 so I have no idea to do this myself so please dont post do it yourself stuff cause I do not have the resourcses or knowlegde to do so. But I thank everyone in advance for the help they offer.

I believe the SLR 105 needs the barrel turned down at the end as well as being threaded.

Any competent gunsmith can do this for a reasonable fee.

If you don't have anyone near you , just ship it to one of the smiths on the EE here on the board.

This guy has a good rep and is in Arizona.

AK74 (SLR105) type barrels are not threaded. The front sight block is. The front site block on your rifle has had the threads removed. You need to replace the one on your SLR105 with a Bulgarian AK74 front sight block, then you can screw the muzzle brake on to it.
