I bought a Century Arms Yugo M70 Underfolder and can not remove the slate brake.  Does anyone know if it is pressed on or removable?  I think it is left hand threads but not sure.  Mine is definitely tight.  Has anyone tryed to remove theirs?

Also, my gas piston wobbles where it screws into the carrier.  Is this normal?

I also have a Century M70, hopefully this will help:

The slant brake is "reverse" threaded from the way we Americans are used to, i.e. instead of "righty tighty" it is "righty loosey".  You need to depress the little stud on the top before turning it.  If it is still tight, try using some penetrating oil to loosen it up and some padded pliers or a little heat. Most are easy to remove, but if they didn't clean it there might be some gunk causing it to stick a bit.

The gas piston should wobble...that is perfectly nromal for an AK (they screw them in all the way, back of 1 turn, and then pin it.)

Dawg, your opinion of the Century version? I have considered picking one up.
