| Got a new barrel on order from k-var, going to install it on a romie kit. Do i need to worry about headspace??? Also i tried searching, but i could not find any sort of barrel removal tutorial, any help would be appreciated. thanks. |
Yes the new barrel will have to be headspaced, there is no provision for the barrel pin so once headspace is done you will have to mill/drill the barrel pin groove on the barrel. For barrel removal referr to the BUILD IT YOURSELF section of this site. Personally i remove barrels with the pulley puller method, I've done 15 so far with that method, to install a barrel i beat them in with a hammer, with the receiver resting on a block of hardwood.
