I might be able to get some rugs like this here in Kuwait...it's an Afghan War Rug...I've seen a couple around on some of the AK boards...

This one is 2'x3'.

Anyone interested in one of these?

Yeah, I know the folks who made it can't spell for shit...

"Whereas English is not the native language of the rug weavers in question, they shall be exempt from the 'Spelling Nazis' harassment".

There...disclaimer is now in place...

To me this means that it is an export piece designed to sell to silly Westerners, and has no real meaning.

How much for one?

Looks like it'd make a nice "Welcome" mat

I paid $10 plus $20 shipping for mine on ebay.

They are probably not worth your bother.

These are being mass-produced in factories.  Pakistan I presume.

They're all over the place, all about the same with slight variations.  My guess is the spelling mistakes are intentional to make it appear hand-made.

Real Afghanistan "war rugs" go for a lot more $50 dollars.

Oh well...

It's still a nice little trinket from my time spent in this shit-hole.

I think I'll put it on the floor right in front of my gun safe.

It's still a nice piece of kitsch, though.

A buddy of mine uses one for a "welcome" mat on his doorstep. Pizza guys love it.

Actually 50 is kind of high, I am paying $20-25 here, unless I want a custom job then it is about $50.
