I purchased a pretty cheap(270 otd) nmh-90 today. It was imported by csi ontario canada and was only marked with a triangle with a 66 on it besides the importer mark and serial #(ms50078*). I have to wait to pick it up so I was hoping someone could speculate as to whether it is strait or slant reciever. The shop didn't like the idea of me taking the buttstock off.  Thanks for any info.h.gif

I read that nhm-90's are type 56's that were reassembled with butthole stocks and goofy pieces of pipe over the tread. Anyone know if that’s true?

If there is one thing standard about Chinese guns...it is....there is no standard! You are just going to have to visually inspect it.

I was happy to see it was straight cut and that there was nothing wrong with the threads on the muzzle.

That's a heck of a price for that rifle. I have 4 Norincos and they are well-built rifles.

thanks,

Here is a pic update. The NHM got a stockset from global trades and a us slant break I had laying around.
