And no, they aren't imported, the '89 Import Ban takes care of that.

For all practical purposes, no they arent being imported. Dalvar USA had (maybe someone can confirm they are no longer operating) imported post samples (96 kbs and 96 kbk)  for LE sales. Im not aware of any adoptions, and I do not beleive they are currently being offered.

If you want oneIm sure  it can be done (if you doubt me check out the M92 SAKO clone Troy at InRange did)- but Ive decided its not worth the time or effort. As pointed out above, they are currently issued to the WP, so they wont be surplused anytime soon. The Tantal  and other Polish kits became available due to the political decision to align with NATO.

I have not seen those scope mounts before, so I guess the scope mount attaches to the gas block and the rear of the receiver. I am trying to figure out if that receiver is just a standard AK receiver or if the rear of it is different to accept the scope mount?  I am very curious because I have business and personal connections in Poland and I am interested in seen if there opportunities with importing AK parts, BUT not receivers. Are there any other unique features that the a Beryl offers?  FMJ's

Nope. No known source.

But I know someone at my work who has an ak-74 that is currently making one. It isn't pretty yet. And it's 3 pieces.

He tried a cast piece.....fuggin heavy.

So now he's machining. I'll get him to post here with pics. He is determined to make that flip front sight. He wants to buy an aR one and mod it.

There were several importers looking at doing parts kits and "sporters" but not sure where they stand now with the barrel ban..

One thing I have always heard people complain about though is that the Poles always want allot  for their stuff... Sure these would be no different.

I have spoken to this company before, they were very friendly and actually seemed very interested in some business. The Poles know Americans have money, so I bet the prices would be much lower when sell to another Pole, which my partner is. I just need to know what parts on the gun you guys would be interested in. Also I need to know if the scope mount attaches to the receiver and if so will attach to all AK receivers? Also what is the barrel ban, I haven't hear of it? FMJ's

Upper and lower handguards
Pistol grip
Bayonet (?)
Magazines in every available caliber especially 5.56x45
The rifle itself, demilled to ATF regulations or any importable parts from the rifle

Its a full auto.. Remember that the Poles use a different selector set up. The traditional selector only goes from safe to fire.. There is another selector to change from semi to auto..

There is a semi auto only civilian model sold in Poland, but it still uses a full auto receiver.

The link above is toa company named ŁUCZNIK, I spoke to them last year and they said that they were going bankrupt and that another company, Mesko, was taking over production of their AK's, http://www.mesko.com.pl/. I am not sure if this is currently the case or not, Mesko doesn't mention any rifle sales or services on their website, and I was never able to get to speak with anyone at their company. . So does anyone know anything about the barrel ban, or any ban of importing parts kits. FMJs

Yup, since joining NATO, the Poles have jumped in with both feet.

The Bulgarians are close behind with their 5.56mm AK, but it's a milled receiver.
