I was supposed to get my ORF mags today.   The tracking said it was "out for delivery since 7 AM.  They never showed up.  I waited around all day today so I can sign for them.  I called 3 times and they said they were in route.  Well, now it is almost 11 PM and they can't be reached.  I wasted my whole day waiting for those F*&ks to deliver the mags.  Now they tell me it will be Tuesday at the earliest.  The tracking still says out for delivery.  To top it all off, I work normal hours so I will not be able to take delivery during the week.   AND the pick up point is an hour away.  Total Bullshit!
Well looks like I'm the asshole!  I went to bed last night at 1100 PM and It WAS NOT on the porch.  I woke up and went outside. Guess what, it was there.  Holy cow.  They must have come later and dropped it off.  So much for adult sig required.  I am glad it is hear and I take back my previous views of FEDEX.  Flame away!!

they refused to ship my yucky XM193 cause it's gonna explode and kill the entire world population.

fwiw, UPS isn't much better. But once i insisted they call their main office, they realized that they can accept ammo.

AFAIK ammunitions can only be shipped with UPS ground.

I received a rifle from UPS a couple of weeks ago with the bolt handlle hanging out of the box, and another hole where the rear sight had punched through.  Man, I was really happy with that!

Both are pretty good in my area.  However fedex sometimes doesn't leave packages @ my house and sometimes that's frustrating.  UPS _always_ leaves boxes on  my doorstep.

Huey CHief, I'm in the same boat. My ORF 45-rounders were due today; it's now almost 9:00 pm, and my Saturday is blown to hell, and the most recent tracking update was from 3:30 am Friday, from Shawnee, Kansas-- 1300 miles away and 42 hours old. Now I have no idea what comes next, but I am not pleased. I have another shipment coming from ORF also-- I guess this is the dress rehearsal.

Edit, Sunday 14:20-- No change, here or on my tracking page. Still shows as having departed Shawnee, 03:26 Friday. Glad yours arrived, Huey_Crew_Chief. . . but I'm now officially pissed off. I can understand if they're going to be late, but what good is a tracking number if they don't update the damn tracking?!?!

fedex tracking is more of a wag then an actual time and they usally show early
ups on the other had tells you a day and a time and it will be there when they say
only prob is its usally 3 weeks even if your only shipping 200 miles

todd needs to start usein usps you can ship 20+ mags for 8 bucks and its there in 3 days

I order mine on the 22nd, i received shipping notice friday that they would be delivered sat. guess what? no delivery yesterday. now when i check Fedex's site ,it looks like the package hasn't been picked up from ORF yet. hmm, two weeks from order date to delivery is not a good turn around time. i don't care how busy you are.  and i thought K-Var was slow. mmk

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Tracking showed them out on truck for delivery so I waited for them alllll day, they never showed. I check the tracking this morning and here's what it said "
Customer not available or business closed " New delivery date is 12-6

I have a stock set coming from kvar.  Scheduled deliver UPS ground is the 6th, but their tracking system says that the package has arrived at the UPS warehouse (in my town) on Saturday (3rd).  I am expecting my package on the 5th.  They have always been correct or early so far.

Same thing happens here in WI.  Fedex sucks - BUT ADULT SIGNATURE SUCKS TOO for 35 bucks in mags.

I finally received my mags yesterday (Original delivery was Tuesday) from ORF due to the Adult sig.  My fedex terminal is 45 minutes away minimum 1 way.  I was going to order 2 more sets of mags last night but decided against it cause of the hassle dealing with fed-ex and the adult sig BS.    P.S.  Did I mention the Fed-ex driver hates me?  I guess I caused him to lose a $200 monthly bonus cause I complained about him.  He lied about a delivery of a primo kit -he never showed up and marked me as not at home   And he's pissed at me

Anyway I hear ya.

FedEx may suck, but UPS swallows and blows. FedEx is the only one here in CA that will ship anything related to a gun/part/ammo.

So you guys are saying a signature is needed?

I just got a 3 pack of AK47 mags from Dillon, via fedex.  They just left them on the enclosed back porch.

OTOH, my ORF -74 mags were scheduled for Sat, and they are saying the 6th. This is in southern WI.

For some reason ORF sent their mags out with an adult signature required.  Generally, most people don't put sigs required.

I don't deal with fedex often but the UPS guy is here several times a week and i've never had a problem. USPS has also been very reliable but their so called tracking system sucks.

I don't believe for one second that i missed the fedex guy, i believe he was running late on deleveries and i'm way out in the sticks and he said screw me lol. Just a theory.

About two hours ago, the tracking page finally allowed that my mags had made it to Portland, OR, this morning at 11:30 or so. I had checked at 4:00 pm and there was no change. So probably I'll see my mags notice of failed delivery tomorrow. If they send them back to Ohio I swear I'll go postal on them. (Small pun there.) More likely I'll have to drive way out of my way to pick them up.

ETA: We have all but quit using USPS where I work because of the loss ratio. For all their faults, Big Brown is still the most dependable means of shipment, horrifying as that is to contemplate. (YMMV, of course.)

Okay, feeling a little better about these guys now. I found out I can call and arrange a late delivery, though they do their best to obscure the phone number; and the local driver went the extra few miles to drive back and see if I was home at the end of his route. (I was-- tan 45-rounders have been delivered! ) I guess there was a good-sized blizzard in the Midwest that slowed things down. I just wish they'd keep their tracking info more up-to-date; mine disappeared for five days, and that's what got me hot.

Tuesday has now gone , I found the sticker on my door this mourning at 10:30 but it said they were there at 11:00 and no one was home, but guess what....I was home, i was on the reloading bench in the basement, i swear these guys dont use the damn doorbell or the big ass brass knocker on my front door. My door bell is louder than the revelry horn at boot camp, lol. Fedex can kiss my fat ass thats all i have to say, they have always fucked up delivering goods to me, DHL man those are some bozo's too, I just sold a motorcycle on ebay and the guy sent the payment via DHL from europe, this was the first time i received anything from DHL, i sat in my kitchen watching the guy approch my house, he didnt knock or ring all he did was put the damn sticker on the door. I had to yell at him to get his attention. UPS is a different story with me. I get all kinds of stuff delivered to my house and their the best, the driver even gave me a pound of venicine jerky this year just a week ago.
