So I finally got around to emailing Century Arms as to whether or not my barrel was actually threaded or not, and they said "if it's welded then it should be threaded in the standard type". So, dremeling done, and Voila! Threads!! YAY!! But.... what is this "standard" thread? And where can I find a slanted brake with said threading?

Ok first of all, if you did not mirror the image, they look like Left Hand threads, so the chance that they are 14 by 1mm left (standard AK) is very high.

Second...I count 14 threads for the 1/2 inch... >>

0.5 inch /14 threads = 1.0 inch/28 threads = 25.4 mm/28 threads NOT really equal to 1mm thread pitch.

If we call it 13 threads over the 1/2 inch we get closer...
25.4mm/26 threads... pretty much 1mm metric pitch.

The pic and my beer has clouded the analysis...but I'll say that a standard AK muzzle device will fit and that it's 14X1mm LHT

yes, it is reverse threading (lefty is TIGHTY instead of LOOSEY)
So it's probably 14x1 then?

What, didn't like my math???

Yeah, if it's lefty tighty, then it's almost certain AK metric threads...you need a US part...Global Trades or DPH Arms, etc has them for about $12.

It's cool the pin is in there so you don't have to mess with that either.
