Are they the same? Both use the fixed stock trunnion, correct? Educate me. |

The Romy stock (wire) is offset to the left when open and to the right (a little distance away from the receiver) when closed. Makes it possible to wrap the wire (for shooting comfort). The EG stock (wire) is centeredwhen open and tight to the receiver when closed. It also has a smoother finish and is more complicated to install/remove due to the fact that it uses the PG nut as an attachment point. And if the EG mechanism comes disassembled, it can be a PITA to put together. |

Will try and post my pics of East German AK with Folding Stock from here in Iraq. Until then, who has either Romy or EG folders instock online? Would like to order a couple. Does Cope's charge your CC if it's on back order or only when they get them in stock? F.A.S. Out |
