I have a quick question which probably won't be quick but here goes.  How many Us made parts do I need for my AK-74 build to make it US legal.  Thanks a lot I'm very confused on how many parts I've heard 5 and 14 so I'm not sure I need to know before I get it built.  Thanks again.

Thanks alot I have a US pistol grip, Gas psiton, Reciever and I'm getting the Red Star Arms Two stage trigger so that should be enough.  I can't wait to get mine built.

5 unless you are using a muzzle attachment, Then it has to be 6 (Or Just use a US made Muzzle attachement).
I mostly go with
1. Hammer.
2. Trigger.
3. Disconnector.
4. Buttstock.
5. Pistol grip.
6. Handguards.

If I want to use a Foreign Stock set (Like I nice Russian Laminate set) I use
1. Hammer.
2. Trigger.
3. Disconnector.
4. Gas Piston.
5. Pistol Grip (Z-Recto makes a nice US made Laminate PG that matches the Russian stuff nicely).
