Well it was a toss up between a kit or a WASR3 in .223. I had to sell my Norinco preban in .223 awhile back and Ive always wanted to replace it. Got it from AIM for $329.95 and $14.00 shipping. My buddy has an FFL and charges me $15.00 for transfers...well worth it in my book. I have a ton of .223 so all I need are some mags. Ive got alot of very good AR mags I can sell off now...or trade for wieger .223 mags. Ive got 4 other AKs and really dont have the time to build so this looks like the deal. It will get here late next week so I'll post photos and a critique of the gun at that time, my not have time to shoot it untill the weekend.

well its probably going to be a bit rough around the edges like most WASRs seem to be but once you iron out whatever small kinks might be there it should run great

Yeah Ive owned a few.......I might redo the trigger group and refinish it. For the price you can afford to mess with them. Ive already got an E. German Folder and new wood and a wood PG for it.

Get A Romanian kit and an armory receiver...and build it yourself. The current batch of Romanian AK kits are good and were made for their military, not the commercial market.

Similiar situation here.  I've a K-BAR BU .223 kit.  A build or just buy a WASR 3 or M-5S???
