Saw a NIG (new in grease) milled Polytech at a funshow today. Factory 386 Kengs import but it is not a legend. Had the three mags with chrome followers, type 1 bayo, sling. The box was plain brown. Same color furniture as a legend. Did not know there were any milled Polys that were not Legends? Has anyone seen these before? Calling Jeep. Thanks in advance.  Edited for poor spelling. |
| IAFAIK....all the pre 89 ban milled guns were part of PolyTech's "Legend" series. That series not only included the milled AK, but the M14, the 1911, etc. They were supposed to be "tribute" guns if you will. I actually still have the ads from 89 where they were advertised. I think the "Legend" , legend if you will is a misnomer. |
Guy had to have cash, wanted a deposit and meet him tomorrow for the rest, like a dummy I did not want to do that. Did scrape the cash together, went back and it had sold. 825.00 out the door. To say I am disappointed is quite the understatement.  The guy claimed it was not a Legend, he had a NIB Legend for sale for 1500.00By the way, how do members add the cool little pics under their forum name? |
