I believe Century has these on their newest batch of WSAR-10 rifles.

A friend wants one to put on his sar-1. Does any place stock these besides Century arms?

I think that the century ones are not 1/2x28, but something like 1/2 x 20.

Why would your friend want to thread his SAR1 for 1/2 x anyway as it should be the correct diameter for 14mm x 1 LH which is the standard for the slant brakes.

He's a closet AR-15 freak?

Beats me.. He claims that is what he needs. I'm not a WSAR or SAR guy myself.

Been wantin' one of those breaks myself but I don't believe Century will part with 'em individually. Global trades is "supposed" to have 'em in a couplea' months. Maybe. Madtechcool

He needs to thread it for 14mm x 1 LH thread as it is just the right size for it.  He can rent the threading kit through someone on the boards or buy the kit himself.

The slant brakes can be had almost anyplace.

www.Brownells.com has the US made slant brakes as well as the threading kits for 14mm x 1 LH thread (die and thread guide).

He also will need to add the plunger to the front sight which is easy as pie to do.  The plunger runs about $7 with the spring.
