What does bulgarian currently field for its infantry weapon?

The Aresenal has a NATO length stock and is 5.45 with or without a scope rail.  Would this configuration be correct for anything Bulgaria has or is currently fielding?

The Bulgarians are currently issuing.........everything.

They have older Type III AK-47's in use, along side of their home grown modifications to the milled AK known as the AR-M1 and AR-M1A1, along side AK-74's, AKS-74's, and AKSU-74's.

Since they are now members of NATO, they will probably start to rearm with milled (and possibly stamped) 5.56mm AK's as their budget permits.

The SLR-105A1 and A1R are the closest to a "real" AK-74 as you can get, and the Bulgarians are still issuing them.

That got my interested...did a quick google search and found a website by someone in bulgria's INTERNAL SECURITY FORCES...from what I understood, they recently switched from '74s to '74Us and he said that a anti-terrorist unit was the only other to use '74s but...that might be just within the "internal security forces"...I don't understand cyrillic so I can't be sure what else is there...some pics of them holding '74s though..

Someone's personal bulgarian military website

Yes, I realize that but that is not what I am looking for.  I know it has an imported receiver, etc....

I am looking for a clone with correct, barrel, furniture, caliber, stock, bolt, style of receiver, etc of an authentic military rifle.

The reason why I ask is that I assume a NATO length stock would not be correct for a gun chambered in a WARSAW (5.45) caliber.

You're correct on that.  Sorry, I wasn't clear on what you were asking.

The NATO length stock is put on for US parts count reasons, and the fact that a lot of Americans complain about the short LOP of the AK.

You can swap it out with a Warsaw Pact standard length stock from K-Var, who make them for Arsenal Inc.

It's a US part and made from the same polymer as the Bulgarian one.

Yeah, that is what I am looking for.

I am trying to debate on wheither to build a Bulgy parts kit (which is all matching) or buy a Arsenal SLR-105 and swap the stocks.

I don't care where the receiver is made as long as all the parts are historically authentic.

How did you get plum furniture on it?  Or does it come with plum or black?

I put the plum on.

You can have any color option you'd like from the factory, as long as it's black.
