What do you guys recommend for a SAR?

I was just gonna go to Walmart to see what they have.

Get one longer than you think you need, so it does fit other attachments/guns that come later. 42" min or just go for 46" imho.
The cheapo ACE brand soft case with 4 mag pouches works well enough for $30 at local shows. Only a few thread frays, and no melting from a warm gun yet.
Big hard cases just do not fit gracefully in small trunks.

Cabelas has an oversized hard case on sale for $20. I think it's a good deal.

I already bought four of the same model from Academy a year ago.

I drive a truck, however, so I don't have the constraint of the small truck if that is an issue for you.
