Well I know it can be done, but is it legal now that the ban is over? I also know how to open up the receiver to accept the hi cap, but what else is involved? I seem to remember someone telling me that the spacer under the area where the trigger guard/mag release has to come out. Any one know the details? Or have an info to point me in the right direction. I just had it done on the same model rifle you have. I had my local gunsmith do it. Since I haven't picked the rifle up yet, I can only relay to you what he told me. Hogged out the mag well. Removed spacer. He said he had to remove the trigger guard and move it forward a little. I think that was it. In case you are wondering, price to do it was $45. |
