This is a front and back view of the front sight base of my Polish Underfolder after I sighted it in.  Its way over to the left.  This is about where it was before I built it and I centered it but after taking it out and  sighting it in, its back in about the same place.  So this makes me believe that whoever had this AK originally, in the field or whatever, had it sighted in at this same place.  Does this mean that the FSB is canted?????  Any ideas???
BTW.....sighted in at 100 yds.

When you say you centered it already, do you mean you just centered the "drum" or you already centered the FSB ???

Since you said you built the rifle I figure you've already fixed the cant, so I have no ideas other than an adjustable rear sight ...

If you only centered the "drum" just follow this tutorial on fixing the FSB cant: www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/fsbcantfix.htm

Sounds like it is the drum that is not staked.
If the FSB is canted it is obvious looking down the bbl.
If the drum isn't staked it will move during shooting.

When I said "centered", I meant just put the drum over to the centered position.  The drum was sticking way out, like the picture, when I first bought the parts kit.  Its not loose in there.  Had a cheap sight adjustment tool and it just bent instead of moving the drum so used a punch and hammer.  The drum is pretty tight in there.

Okay, I think I understand now. Drum is not moving when you shoot but when you adjust for windage to get on target it is all the way over the left, correct?

Might be the rear sight that is canted. A careful look should tell you what is canted, if anything. It may just be where the bbl sights in. You could adjust the cant on the FSB to compensate and get your sight close to middle as per previously posted instructions. Or just live with it. Or get an adjustable rear sight and put front sight in the middle. If there is no cant, that is probably what I would do.
