I made some U.S. Yugo grips but in the process I pretty much ruined all my original ones. Then I went to install one of my U.S. ones on a bent up Tapco recever but it sits back about 1/8" from the trigger guard. I have everything set up so that the holes in the U.S. grips will be predrilled but Im afraid that the screw hole is to far forward. The hole should of been made to the same angle as the original Yugo ones but since I dont have them anymore I cant compare them. I have been told that the Yugo rifles have a different pistol grip nut and what not but I dont have one to look at. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for a Yugo grip to not match up with the triggerguard on a standard receiver with a standard pistol grip nut. Im afraid Im gonna have to redue the mold but dont want to get started and then find out the original was correct.
ETA I hope someone can make out what Im trying to say
