you can get a reliable shooter AK for 300 or so, Romanian AKs are the biggest bang for the buck, but some may have canted front sight block, so you want to check it before you lay down the cash. Personally I like Bulgarian milled receiver AKs, but the price on those tend to turn people off. They're the best out there IMO. |

the bulgarians are without a doubt the best currently availible. but with a bit of tinkering you can have a romanian that works great and still have money for 10 mags and 4 cases of ammo(or more depending on which arsenal Inc. rifle you look at) that being said, if you want something that is fun to shoot and arent worried about asthetics, get the romy. if you want the nicest AK ever to grace the face of the earth get something from Arsenal inc. or you could get a kit and send it to JNewt and have him build you something, he does some pretty nice work from what I've seen. |
