I'm going to buy a new Gas Block for an Ak and the ad for the gas block says plunger pin and spring for plunger pin are not included.  What are these parts?  Should my AK already have them and can I reuse them?

K-Var has the plunger pin, and I'm sure they have the spring, too.

Here is a link to the plunger

I just went to Home Depot and bought a box of nails for $2, took out my dremel and made a pin.
The difference in size was about .009th of an inch.  No big deal though.  However, the spring was a real bitch to find.

It is for the AK-100 series gas block/front site that K-Var sells, I assume.  I looked and they actually have a kit for it listed, and even shows the gas block underneath.
