| Anyone ever do this and get an improvement in accuracy? The business end of my barrel is a little rough and I’m thinking of chucking up a round headed brass bolt in a drill and running it up against the muzzle with some lapping compound. Sound OK? I’m guessing there really is no downside to doing this, but then I’ve guessed tragically wrong before. Is there some horrible consequence to doing this I haven’t thought of? I suppose I’d be wearing away the chrome lining at the muzzle more than anything. I’m not expecting miracles here, just looking to clean it up some. |
