From Templar's explanation in a previous post, they're having trouble getting weapons and related items out of the Black Sea area (read Bulgaria and Romania). Remember that that boatload of CAI Romanian AKs that got impounded in Italy a few months back? The big cargo movers in the area have basically decided to take a pass on arms shipments. Centerfire Systems has AMD-65 kits for $79 in their newest flyer, not listed on their webpage though. Cheaper Than Dirt also had them for around $110 I think it was... I really want a nice underfolder kit for around $100, sure hope somebody has some in the works... |
| I'd like a folder too. But Michigan has that 30" minimum length law. You'd have to attach a 5" fake can or brake to meet the minimum lenght law to be legal. I'm just looking for a straight stock AK kit. Sould have bought a Russian or Polish kit when I had the chance but I didn't have the "build" bug then. I did get a screw built Polish rifle on an OOW receiver and it looks and shoots great. |

Right now, see if Bocefus on EE still has some nice AMD65 kits. Otherwise, I'll remind the crowd of JeepCreep's past rants to make like a frog and jump whenever deals go by. I know, I know, we all get the bug at different times. But I totally fail to understand why some refuse to stock up when they have been fans of the gun for years and watch $80 AMDs, $150 Polish underfolders, and $180 Bulgy 74 kits go by. How much cheaper can they get, how much money can you possibly lose if you decide to unload them 2 years from now, how much friendlier can import and building laws get????? Even my 3rd Dans Imbel FAL kit was 'better than cash' towards the AMD63 a friend built for me. |
These aren't new but from what I read about the last group buy they are in good condition and very serviceable. I'm getting one  AKM ak-47 kits all you can build for $99.95 each!! They have pics and 18 pages of ppl asking questions and signing up but if you want one move fast!! This group buy will be closed Monday 12:00 Midnight Mountain Time!!! You maybe able to also get a AMD-65 kit still from clearview, Mine should ship today hopefully if they have it in stock. I called and was told they had them by Aletta but another arfcomer on here said he called earlier in the day than I did & talked to someone that said they were already out.  Blackops_1. |
