Chinese hooded front sight bases are hard to find,you can use the Bulgarian AK47 [typeIII] FSB and it will retain your cleaning rod.

Check with Armory USA (Global Trades) to see if they have any of the above mentioned FSBs available.

No real luck but does anybody know for sure that bulgarian barrel parts will fit?

You can get a complete MAK barrel for $50 - does not have a bayonet lug though
