I am looking to get a muzzle break to make my MAK 90 us compliant and was curious about how to tell if my barrel has the 1/14 thread. Its got grooves in it like threads but I've been told that is how they made the barrels.

Unless someone has played with it, any 7.62 AK variant should have the 14x whatever left hand threads, I believe. Even if your barrel isn't threaded, there are kits running around to do so. Cost to rent is ~$20 and you can do the job yourself in a few minutes.
