Anybody remove the front sight base on a Bulgy AK-74? Is this something that is fairly easy or are the pins in there so tight you need a press to get them out? Also do they only go in one way like the Romy's?

I'm not specifically familiar with the Bulgy, but I would guess the pins go in the same way.

As far as how tight the pins are, it will vary from rifle to rifle.  I did one where the pins came out as easy as hot butter.  On another, I ended up cutting the FSB off.

The pins just pop right out, I had one that was canted slightly so I straightened it up. When I took it to the range to check the sites about 20 rds with the brake on pulled it off about 1/16" so I would say they come off pretty easy.
