new to this stuff but how do i use this?i have a small metal one 3 parts how is this thing used sorry for being soo stupid. david |

the broken(ruptured) case extractor is placed on the bolt face and chambered. it goes inside the ruptured case and expands against the inside wall of the case. pulling the action rearward will, theoretically, pull the broken case extractor out with the case with it. i have also tried tapping the extractor into ruptured cases and then closing the action on it. i have had very little success with military broken case extractors. i keep a brass rod handy just for such occasions. |
