[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK identification please

Saw a mint AKM today, deactivated fullauto (legal to posses in the Netherlands)

Ribbed receiver cover
R A markings on the selector lever
Early soviet type scope mount on the left side of the receiver
Laminated stock
Closed (no vents) gastube w/ 45 degree angle
14mm threads on muzzle
Bayo lug present

Question, I think this could be a Polish or Romanian AK. If it's polish it's a steal at 450 euro's.
Barrel is in mint condition, with some wear on the receiver.
Calibre is 762x39

Bas-

If its S (top) A (middle) R (bottom) then its probably romanian.

Polish guns use C and P.

Not too good looking outta the box, but it's reliable a good shooter, sorta like an ugly girlfriend that gives good sex.....

romanian akm's are as reliable as any other, although they lack the attention to detail and finish that some of the other com-bloc countries put into their kalashnikovs.

the biggest cool factor? it's...AUTHENTIC TO THE ROMANIAN PATTERN! heheh!

450 Euro's,thats about 900.00 US.Thats not bad for an original Romanian AKM.Are there any extras with it,mags,cleaning kit,bayonet...............................?

The Romys over here tend to group 20% bigger than the nicer AKs that cost twice as much. BUt I've beat my Americanized import for years, smoked the handguards uncounted times, and the cheap slut still delivers 4moa.
