Just got 2 Vector underfolders.

Appearance is awesome. Some knock the finish, I think the dark grey park looks cool as hell.
Folders are tight.
Magwells pretty dam tight but no complaint here. Mags do not rattle.
Trigger so-so, same as euro AK's.
Bores shiny, look good.
Both gastubes are a little loose.
One has canted sights but not bad. The rear sight is canted to the right just a tad and the front is slightly canted to the left.
Front sight sits high and won't screw in more than 3/4 of a revolution. That is on both.

Took the worst of the 2(not by much) out today on a 5 mile trudge thru 8" of fresh snow we got over the weekend. Beuatiful day. 30F, sun shining, clear blue skies, snow on everything. Awesome. Only problem with that was there was so much snow on all the trees that I could only shoot about 30yds tops. Shooting South African 7.62x39 in Bulgy waffle mags.

Ran 4 mags thru. Nary a hiccup. Good groups shooting offhand. Chugged right thru a mag on rapid fire. They did a good job boresighting except for elevation. I'll have to work on that next spring when I can get back on the range. They closed it for deerhunting and now the snowmobile trail goes through it!

I am overall extremely pleased.
They could've done a little better on the front sight posts and I would have liked a bayo with it but for the money I am thrilled. Glad I bought 2!

I'll take the other out and shoot it this week hopefully.

$479 apiece. Best deal on a gun out there right now as far as I am concerned.

I'll work on getting pics up.
My membership expired last summer and I doubt I'll be renewing so I'll have to find a source to host pics for me. Very nice rifles though. It'll be the best money you've spent on a rifle in some time. That is my impression anyhow.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why they are putting vented Gas Tubes on them.

Well my MAK90 has the exact same gas tube. It doesn't seem to a problem at all. From what I believe, the gas tubes with the holes are true AK47 style, while without the holes is AKM style.

Yeah, but these guns have an AKM gas block so there should be no need for the holes in the gas tube.  My Global underfolder came with the same set up, nary a jam yet but I went ahead and bought a Romy AKM gas tube with no holes.  I just don't know how to take the wooden handguard off.  On the other hand, if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.  I'll probably have it installed when I get Global to fix my slightly canted front sight.  Why the hell can't these companies get the Front site STRAIGHT???????  Jimyy at Global said the reason they had an AK47 gas tube on the AKM gas block was because that is what they had avaible at the time of the build.

I ahve one also. I wonder how come they are sent out with the solid wood instead of the original lamiinate.  and the ones I have seen are made from non matching kit. i have not shot mine yet but mines seems to have a canted front site. Can't really be sure till I shoot it.
