[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SAR-2 muzzle thread size?

A couple quick questions, will a Sar-2 barrel take 1/2 x28 threading? And whats the deal on the thread alignment tools, can one of these be bought or must I make one?

Yeah, someone on the gunsnet site and maybe some of the others was renting 1/2x28 kits with the TAT as well specifically for threading SAR2s and another TAT for SAR3s... I want to say it was the user WJM

I rented the barrel threading kit from WJM and threaded the barrel of my SAR-2. It was easy.

It's a K-var plum set in original Warsaw Pact length.
I've got a Romy side folding stock that I may put on this one.

My K var plum seems so much darker than that..Even the pistol grip...Huh

the plum furniture changes its' appearance as the lighting and background changes.
