[ARCHIVED THREAD] - how do stripper clips work?

ive got some yugoslavian ammo on stripper clips and it wont fit in my hungarian 20 round mags...the clips are too wide. I don't even know how they work, are you supposed to be able to push them straight down into the magazine or what? thanks
