I am thinking of buying an Arsenal(TEXAS) AK with an underfolder stock. How comfortable are they to shoot? Would I be better off with a side folder or a AR telescoping stock adapted to fit? This isn't my first AK, I guess I'm ready to come back to the dark side.

Very comfortable. Arsenal's underfolders have a recoil buffer and the gas tube is vented, so the recoil is very mild. I shot 200 rounds threw mine this weekend and it did not leave a mark on my shoulder. I even shot a few mags with the stock folded, and recoil and control was not a problem. |
