[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best side scope mount for the $$$

Which side scope mount do you guys think is the best for my WASR-10. Im willing to spend about 50 bucks. I have see the Yukon, and Belarus scope mounts. Are they any good. I need some advice before blowing my cash.

I've always liked the BP-02 "low" mount myself. But then, I also prefer ComBloc optics w/integral mounts like the PK-AS & POSP scopes.

I bought a Belrussian when it first came out, and there was only one model. Turned out to be high, roughly 3/4" above the receiver cover. Does not need removal for cleaning, but way high for shooting. Good otherwise; go low.

Unless you must recycle a western optic, consider a 4x24 pso with integral mount, milspec tough, for $90.
