Here's a 5mm screw from AA-OK that works perfectly (the screw for the rear tang hole may or may not need to shortened just a hair): www.aa-ok.com/AK_Stocks/stock.html Part# AK-238 & they're $2 each.

I just tried mine out a few days ago took it back off, but yes the screw is too short, I cut it myself though.

Ace hardware has assorted lengths so you can pick the right ones without the need to cut. The cost about $.30 and no cost for shipping.

Out here in rural Idaho we have 5mm screws of varying lengths but not w/a head that will fit the tang holes properly (sigh...).
