| I took a hamer to the front sight post to try and move it to the left. Unfortunetly it wont budge. Is there a trick to moving the post? |
| A hammer is a very very bad way to try to adjust it. What will happen you will swedge or flare the metal and then it isn't going to move. Use a C clamp with two sockets. One socket needs to be bigger than the drum .The other needs to be smaller so it can push it.The bigger one is so it (drum) can be press toward and into it. Or you can use the same method with a Bench vise. Eithway will work but I like the bench vise alittle better. More leverage. Ive had front site drums bend clamps. Use a big anough one. Good luck it will move. They do seemed to be weld on sometimes. Kroil it if you got some.I also put a ciggarette lighter on it to heat it up alittle. What ever it takes. But don't use a hammer/Nothing good can come from that. Best of luck to ya, WarDawg |
