| does anyone here know how to take off the rear sight. I just got an RPK 1000 yard... meter...., one of them, and i have no idea how to take the old one off. |

3-handed job. flip sight leaf up to 60° from the horizontal. depress the front of the spring steel leaf located under the sight. a screwdriver is the tool i use to depress the spring leaf. note: this takes some pretty good pressure. be careful! once depressed, the sight leaf can be slide rearward and up the removal/installation grooves that are cast into the sight block. |

Dang it Campy Beat Me to It!! Remove the original sight blade by pressing down between the “ears” of the sight base and simultaneously pulling the blade to the rear. It should pop out. A wooden dowel or block of wood may help with this. Be careful the rifle doesn’t roll during this maneuver, particularly if it’s on your lap. Do not remove the spring or any other parts. Taken from MOJO instructions. 3-handed job.......................I loved that video!!!!!!!!!!!! Ken RSA |
