What about canted front sights? Are these fine looking Yugo SKS rifles suffering from the same fate as so many SAR 1 rifles?

Naah, but some of the barrels are pretty nasty, and they can leak gas at the grenade launcher shutoff switch.. other than that, sweet shooters in good condition at a cool price.

I picked one up awhile back at a show. Was amazed at how accurate it is out of the box. A good shooter for sure.

excellent value for the money!! Just be ready to clean assloads of cosmoline off of it!! Say what you want about communism, they weren't stingy with cosmoline when storing weapons

Here's what mine looks like. It's one of the "select" grade from AIM. I came with the military log book that shows all activity since leaving the factory. This rifle was fired four times since leaving the factory - that's four total rounds. I cleaned cosmoline for two days before taking it to the range. It was sighted dead on and shoots sweet as sugar.

I have 2, one is mostly a safe queen and the other is a shooter.

I wouldn't give my shooter up for anything. It's the one rifle I own that I can pick and hit just about whatever I want from 25 to 200 yards away.

My other awesome rifle is my K31, but it's expensive for plinking.
