Would the AMD-65 Kit work on my SAR1 reciever. I am thinking about it as a spare part set. Does anyone sell the amd 65 as a finished weapon I googled with no luck (to many to sort thru no luck on the first 10 pages) |
| For the most part the parts are somewhat interchangable, some would drop in, but many would require fitting or modification. There are a few places that sell the AMD65 as complete rifles, I have seen them as low as $400 FAC has them for a little more, but they are the first site that popss into my head. |

The rivet locations in the rear trunnion are different & a notch would have to be cut for you to use the folding stock. The grips will work, so would the handguard <I think>. The front trunnion/barrel might...from eyeballing my AMD65 parts kit & 5.45 Romanian AK the rivet locations seem to match up.
