Where is the best place to have an AK receiver heat treated? How much does it usually cost? I have a pre ban B-West AK, and before I shoot it, I would like to have the rails, and pivot pin holes done. Thanks

i would advise you to have your receiver rockwell tested at a local machine shop. it may not need heat treating.

Thanks for the answers! This is a factory assembled rifle. It has BWD before the serial number.
