I know this isn't really a AK topic and I'll catch hell from the long timer's  I'm Rebluing a old model 94 Winchester for my Dad for father's day..I've never done before this before??? I stripped her down and am ready to go..Any advice from someone that has done a old rifle would be very appreciated....

'how' old?

i seriously recommend that you take this rifle to a firearm refinisher that is well versed in the ways of correctly refinishing a winchester.

it may cost you a few dollars more to get it right, but a competent smith/refinisher can get it so close to original it isn't funny.

the polishing and old winchester rust blued blue-blue can make or break a winchester! expect to pay $200 or so for a quality job and much more for 'restoration' grade refinishing.

Jicky,As far as I'm concerned we're all AK Guys and anything we talk about is in some way AK related.Including your Dad's Winchester.
I agree with Campy, depending on how old the Winchester is,have it professionally done.
