a very simple task.

minor sanding/fitting of the new wood would be the toughest part of the job (and often this is not needed).

I've found his handguards to be about 3mm too short. Not over all length, but the part that shows, if that makes any sense. Also, the upper handguard I just ordered is loose on the gas tube, as well as being too short. I'll send it back and request a change, but just a word of caution from my experiences. Thanks,

Schulze

Ya sure your receiver front isn't too long?
Common problem with some receiver/kit combos.

Receiver front? I checked the length on my Romanian '74, PMKMS, and a vented gas tube I have. All short.
