Anybody have a link to the guys that were selling the handguards with the built in rails? I think they were link $50. Thanks |
Thanks a lot guys!! I had just decided to configure my SAR1 with a Rom. sidefolder and laminated wood verticle foregrip this Sept. until I read this thread!!![]() Now I'm wanting this forearm with a verticle foregrip and a light unit!! Still plan on the Rom. sidefolder. Might have to get the UltiMak gas tube scope mount also!! I'm thinking that this might make a fun little CQB lead hose!!

Hank, that looks real sweeet!!

I haven't got a chance to really play with mine. Here's a pic.![]() I ordered my handguard straight from TDI. TDI sent me an email telling me that the purchase would be paid to their US store (Mako Security). I recently order a foregrip from Mako. |
Thanks! The sight block, stock, Galil style grip, and gas tube guard are from ACE. In September, I will be adding the simple ACE folding adaptor. In my opinion, ACE makes excellent stuff. The sight block accepts AR15 sight posts... I have an A1 post in mine. It will also accept the Trijicon AR15 sight post. The mojo peep sight is from RSA. I like it more than the standard the AK rear sight but it still does not provide the sight picture that I want (i.e., an AR sight picture), but like I said, it is definately an improvement over the standard sight (for my taste).

Hehe, looks like we've got twins.

| The TDI fore-grip is designed to be a really tight fit. It even says so in the installation instructions. It's supposed to be tight so that when you instal a laser, it holds "zero" when the rifle is bounced around. I don't think there should be any problems from it melting. It's made from a high temp "delrin" type polymer. It's actually sturdy as h3ll! I like mine a lot. They make a sweet tactical pistol grip too! Click here to check out more of TDI's products... |
