Those are custom made. Any custom AK smith should be able to do that for ya.

I remember Campybob always saying how those wouldnt hold zero very well (or at all?). Did some of those AK smiths find a way to keep the dust cover on tight so the zero doesnt shift?

i think ace was selling an ar type sight that replaced the ak rear sight.

krebs/robarms, ak-usa and ohio rapid fire should be able to custon something up for ya.

SuperChicken, IIRC the AR A2 rear sight units for AK topcovers use a set screw to help tighten everything up. For what Krebs charges for his rifles, I'd say it would have to work or people wouldn't praise his work.

My Norinco Hunter had set screws and ears draped over the rear rec edge for repeatable zero, even after cleaning. The ONLY top cover setup I have trusted.

Thats my rifle in the link above.   The peep sight is from Krebs custom, it was installed by AK-USA onto my .223 Saiga project.  Krebs however no longer makes this sight.....they have a new one coming out soon with a rail built into it.  Not a good idea in my opinion.  The cover is fine for mounting something light like a peep, but I wouldn't put anything heavy up there.

As far as zero, it hold just fine.  The Saiga top covers fit very tightly compared to other AK's.  Krebs uses a screw (requires modifying the button you depress to remove the top cover) to secure the cover in place, but I had no use for it as the cover fit very well to begin with.

Thanks for the info M700Police.
I agree the rail is A bad idea.
The topcover on my AMD-65 is so tight it is almost impossible to put on / remove...That's why I got the idea of puting A site on it.
Thanks to everyone who posted.
