Aside from RSA who makes a decent trigger I can slap into my sar?  I really dont want all the functionality of the RSA and my SEAK already has one.  I just want to keep it simple.

k-var/arsenal, gordontech (tapco sells a version of this one, also) and fse all manufacture triggers that range from acceptable to good.

the gordontech prodect (i have one of the early g2 sets) i have used is better than my fse in takeup travel, but not as smooth.

i haven't tried the new k-var/arsenal rig yet.

RS39 is there something wrong with the G2 FCG the Tapco is selling?

My G2 double hook from Tapcop is a dream in my MAK-90.  The trigger was pretty good to begin with, but the G2 is sweet.

My Dad is trigger fanatic to say the least. He mods all his triggers and hates my AK triggers with a passion.  Even he thought it was a decent military trigger for what it is,  He never pulls punches with me either, so I consider his opinion to be good.

What I'm trying to do is keep the sar1 as bone stock of an AK as possible.  It has nothing extra.  I shoot it and clean it occasionally.  I dont feel so bad about putting in an aftermarket trigger since the one in there now is century monkeywork.  The trigger slap is becoming too harsh, especially when I'll burn up 500-800 rounds in a day.  I could modify the current FCG but I'd rather just get something simple and of quality manufacture.

My seak on the other hand has a laser, a light, is about to get an aimpoint and will probably have a quick detach bipod in the case with it for S&G's.

I think he is saying that Tapco's are $39 plus about $9 shipping. Thats $48 shipped. Where InRange is $30 shipped. The BIG BUT....... Inrange is the older version. It doesn't have the tube to hold it all together while installing and InRange is Double hooks. And that shouldn't be a problem with a dremmel tool.Just away to shave $18 bucks. If Im wrong on any of my info(memory ) I aplogize. WarDawg
