Well me and a friend o` mine have been lusting after one of these for a while. I got to handle one but never did get a chance to fire it. Do they work as good as they look? BTW I`m asking about the 7.62x39 RPK. Also how much are they going for these days? Will Arsenal ever make a 5.45x39 RPK? Thanks

I think the Arsenal 7.62 RPK is no longer in production.  I have seen them sell around $900-$1000.  I have not shot one but I have an RPK that was built using Bulgarian parts on a stamped reciever.  I love the way it shoots.

I believe Florida Gun Works (?) has/had the Arsenal Inc. SA RPK-7's in stock. The price was around 1K.

I've been wanting one of these for some time now, they're just beautiful. Arsenal Inc. only produced something like 300 of the 7.62 RPK's in total.

I'm hoping maybe they will start with a stamped RPK series next, with the correct type receiver of course.

I'm looking forward to their stamped sheet metal receiver based models.

Closest I have seen is the 5.45 bbl sets at KVAR, about $700 and missing the trunion I believe, or the 5.56 RPK at Arsenal.
